President, Organizing Committee
the 79th Annual Meeting of the Korean Society of Radiology
On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the 79th Korean Congress of Radiology (KCR 2023), it is my great honor and pleasure to invite you to KCR 2023 to be held from September 20 (Wed) to 23 (Sat), 2023 in Seoul, Korea.
The COVID-19 situation, which once seemed like it would never be finished, is gradually coming to an end. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the Korean Society of Radiology (KSR) has shown remarkable resilience, and spearheaded change through new initiatives. The successful organization of AOCR 2022 & KCR 2022 last year is a testament to the KSR's ability to adapt and evolve, further cementing its position as one of the leading societies in the field of radiology.
As we recover our previous ways of life and vitality, the Organizing Committee has decided on the theme of "Exploring Beyond the Horizon" for KCR 2023 in preparation for taking new steps forward.
The Organizing Committee is designing the best possible program with high quality scientific sessions that will provide a great opportunity for all participants to keep up to date with the latest research findings. To this end, the Organizing Committee, in addition to welcoming many distinguished radiology experts from Korea, has invited a large number of world-renowned speakers and delegates to share their insights and accomplishments. Among them, Dr. Linda Moy (New York University Grossman School of Medicine) will speak at the Congress Lecture, and Dr’s. Joanna Wardlaw (Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences, The University of Edinburgh), Joel G. Fletcher (Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science), and Jin Wook Chung (Seoul National University Hospital) will deliver Plenary Lectures.
I would also like to take this chance to mention about the Joint Symposium that we will be hosting with 11 leading domestic and international radiological societies including RSNA, ECR, and ICIS. I am confident that it will offer participants with yet another great opportunity to gain updates and gather valuable information on the latest issues.
KSR is honored to have the opportunity to share its expertise and knowledge with colleagues from around the globe at KCR 2023. We are committed to dedicating all of our efforts towards organizing a congress that is not only meaningful, but also enjoyable for all participants. We look forward to connecting with our peers and advancing the field of radiology together.
I am looking forward to seeing you at KCR 2023 in Seoul during the beautiful season of September.
Sincerely yours,
